MORGAN BALL CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER/COMPANY SECRETARY Morgan Ball was appointed Chief Financial Officer in April 2007 and has since accepted the additional role of Company Secretary. Mr. Ball is a Chartered Accountant with a qualification in Applied Finance and Investment. His background includes senior commercial roles within Brambles, P&O Maritime, WMC Resources, BNP Paribas, and Ernst and Young. His experience covers commercial, finance, legal, M&A, risk, financial modelling and risk management.

GLEN EDWARDS EXPLORATION MANAGER Glen Edwards was appointed Exploration Manager in May 2007. Mr. Edwards has worked in the mineral exploration industry for 20 years in major and junior mining and exploration companies throughout Africa, Australia and Asia. He has worked with companies such as Goldfields of South Africa, AVMIN, IAMGOLD, Sino Gold, AuDAX Resources, Normandy, Newmont, and Pasminco. His experience covers a range of commodities including energy, gold and base metals. With a specialty in geochemistry, Mr. Edwards’ breadth and depth of experience in exploration and exploration management enhances Western Metals’ ability to deliver on our aggressive global multi-commodity exploration program.

BEN GRGURIC PRINCIPAL GEOLOGIST Ben Grguric was appointed Principal Geologist in May 2007. Dr. Grguric holds a PhD in geology from Cambridge University. He has held various senior positions in WMC Resources and BHP Billiton over the past 14 years at Olympic Dam, Mount Keith, and with the respective exploration groups. Dr. Grguric has specialised in ore petrology and process mineralogy of base metal, uranium and gold ores; geochemistry and mineralogy of hydrothermal alteration of nickel and gold ore bodies; plus ore body characterisation for resource evaluation and feasibility studies. He has numerous publications to his name and has technical expertise that is well respected throughout the industry.

LIVINUS KOMBA Mr Komba is a geologist with experience in mineral exploration including uranium, gold and diamonds. He has held senior positions with Resolute Mining and Barrick Gold. Mr. Komba has also worked within the Tanzanian government, and brings with him intimate knowledge of Tanzanian government policy, processes and procedures.
