CHAIRMAN
Dr Christopher Greig was appointed Non Executive Chairman of the Board
of Western Metals Ltd on 1st September 2007.
Dr. Greig is a Chemical Engineer. During a career spanning 20 years he has held senior corporate and project roles in privately owned and listed companies with exposure to the engineering and construction sectors in Australia, Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe. Dr. Greig is also currently Chairman and board member of a range of private companies.

George Bauk was appointed Managing Director of Western Metals Ltd in June 2006. He has accountability for the company’s operations, governance and management.
Mr Bauk has over 15 years experience in financial and commercial management in Australia’s resources development industry. He brings to Western Metals leadership commercial, strategic planning and strong negotiating skills complemented by an excellent technical finance and accounting background. Having lived and worked in remote areas he is well aware of the importance of excellence in corporate and operational citizenship.

GEOFF CHAPMAN
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Geoff Chapman was appointed an Executive Director of Western Metals Ltd in June 2006. Mr Chapman is a qualified geologist with over 20 years experience in the mining industry, primarily in Western Australia’s goldfields region.
During his career he has undertaken a broad range of roles including as an exploration and mining geologist, mine planning, project evaluation and senior management. His experience has covered both large and small scale open pit and underground operations with major and junior companies.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Peter Smith was appointed Executive Director of the Board of Western Metals Ltd on 1st September 2007. Previously Mr Smith held the position as Non Executive Chairman from June 2006 to 31 August 2007.
Mr Smith is a senior executive with nearly 30 years experience in the minerals sector, with particular expertise in successfully building, operating and achieving the radical turn-around of large complex businesses at both corporate and operational levels. During his career he has demonstrated leading capabilities in business management, leadership, cultural change, and process management. He also has lived in remote and regional communities and has a strong understanding of the impact on and role in small communities major projects can have.

NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Mr Marc Cardaci has over 15 years experience in running successful private businesses across Australia focused on the highly competitive transport and distribution industry.
Mr Cardaci has an Economics degree, coupled with significant hands-on business experience ensuring integrity, well developed strategic thinking and sound economic judgement. In managing large private enterprise businesses Marc has developed strong leadership capabilities at both the corporate and operational levels. Marc is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer for the CFC Group of companies including Centurion Transport Limited.
