CORPORATE POLICIES

Environmental
Western Metals is committed to sustainable development, ensuring that all exploration activities and mining operations have an environmental focus to minimise ecosystem disturbance and degradation.

Western Metals care for and value our environment and advocate pollution reduction. We aim to reduce waste, recycle, minimise water wastage and maintain an acute awareness of the by-products of our operations. We promote these policies internally, ensuring that all Western Metals employees and contractors recognise the value of the environments in which they work.

Western Metals appreciate environmental heritage and believe in protecting this heritage for the enjoyment of future generations. We view environmental protection as one of our core responsibilities and take care to ensure the best approach is taken to this end.

Western Metals aims to minimise any potential adverse environmental impacts from our exploration activities and future mining operations. Rehabilitation is a key part of our environmental harm minimisation strategy. We re-establish sustainable ecosystems in any disturbed areas, as part of this process.
